Linne Hutto was a custom furniture maker in Charleston for over 10 years and recently decided to take on a new venture. His love of trees inspired him to start making relief prints from salvaged wood.
The process of making the prints involves a several steps. Each tree round is burned, surfaced, and sanded before applying the ink. Acid-free paper is hand pressed onto the surface and when it is removed, a unique image of the growth rings is revealed.
