Ann’s Novelty Shop specializes in hand-painted seashell ornaments collected from the shores of Charleston by artist Ann B. Bates. Ann’s passion for the beach and its natural treasures began as a young girl. Today, she strolls the coast for shells that become mermaids, turtles, or even a jolly Santa Clause.
